PROJECT IS DUE TODAY!!!

If you haven't already done so, you need to print out all of your documents and save your PowerPoint presentations in the drop folder.

This is the order I would like your materials... (PLEASE PAPER CLIP THEM - DO NO STAPLE)

1. Word
2. Excel
3. PowerPoint (6 slides per page)
4. Postcards (make sure you printed them on manual feed so they will be 2 sided)
5. Business Card

Today's objective: The students will critique professional documents.

Today's preview:
1. Warm-up
2. Open up ALL documents on two computers! (It's okay if it says it's read only)
3. Peer edit
4. Switch back and correct!

Presentations begin TOMORROW!
Extra credit: Bring samples for everyone in class of food that's from one of your five countries.

I am in New York with BPA Thursday and Friday. Please finish your project. You must have it finished with you walk through the door on Monday. DO NOT PRINT ANY OF IT YET!!!

EXTRA CREDIT CHANCE!!!
If you would like to earn extra credit on your project, you may bring in a food item that's from one of your five countries. You must bring enough for everyone to have a small serving/sample.

Today's objective: Students will combine skills from the year to work on a comprehensive Around the World project.
Today's preview:
1. Do a warm-up typing test
2. 3 minute test, I will record scores
3. If you haven't signed up for a presentation, do so today!
4. If you didn't have your two documents yesterday, please show them to me today for half credit.

Remember all parts are due for a peer edit on Monday, May 14.The final, final project is due Tuesday, May 15 - and presentations begin that day!

1. 3 minute practice typing test
2. Ms. Stockman will check 2 of your documents
3. Sign up for presentation spots
4. Work on more documents
